\ Self introduction /
I’m from Hyogo Prefecture.
My journey with Awaji Island began when I joined a retreat at Zenbo Seinei as a yoga instructor.
I was completely captivated by the island’s atmosphere—the people, the scenery, and the air itself. Before I knew it, I couldn’t resist the feeling of wanting to live here.
During the retreat, I fell in love at first sight with a house that felt like my ideal home, and made the decision on the spot.
What had once been a dream—“someday living near the sea”—quietly became my reality.
Now, I spend my days walking along the coast with my dog, tending to my small garden,
and enjoying the abundance around me—homegrown vegetables and gifts from local neighbors.
Watching the sunset in stillness, and spending nights wrapped in moonlight—
this is everyday life on Awaji Island.
Above all, each time I experience the kindness of the people here, I feel grateful that I chose this place.
I would love to share the warmth of its people and the joy of its delicious food with you.
\ My past travel experiences /
I have traveled all over the world, including Asia, Oceania, North America, and Europe.
While savoring the atmosphere and sightseeing of the town, we also value the time we spend getting in touch with the daily life of the town by talking to locals, asking for information, and visiting places they recommend.
I also like to be exposed to local culture and skills while traveling. Another great attraction of traveling is meeting friends from all over the world who gather for the same purpose through yoga, massage, and singing bowl training, and expanding our values. Recently, one of my joys is to organize retreats and share my learning and experiences with others.
I have made many friends from all over the world, and my "trips to see someone" often lead me to a life of constant learning and discovery.
\ How to Spend my Time on Awaji Island /
On Awaji Island, I enjoy connecting with the local community—learning how to grow vegetables, sharing everyday wisdom, and being surrounded by warm and welcoming people.
Awaji Island is also known as the “birthplace of Japan,” a historically and spiritually significant place. Each time I encounter its beautiful landscapes and culture, I fall in love with it all over again.
There are still so many new encounters waiting here, and I would be delighted if you could experience this island together with me.
I also run a vegan takoyaki stand called “Takayaki,” which shares the blessings of Awaji Island in every bite.
\ About work /
Emcee, yoga, writer
I also work as a wedding MC on Awaji Island.
Each time I am part of a special day surrounded by the island’s nature and warmth, I am reminded once again of its unique charm.
\ About Authentic Japan tour /
The tours I want to create are journeys where you can feel the “breath” of Awaji Island.
By connecting with the people who live here and experiencing their way of life, I hope to create moments where you can fully engage your five senses—through food, culture, and history.
Another element I deeply value is “space.”
Spending time doing nothing in Awaji’s breathtaking landscapes is one of the most special aspects of this journey.
Letting yourself be held by the sea, the sky, and the sound of the wind—simply slowing down.
These simple moments can gently reset your mind and bring you back to your true self.
Through warm interactions with local people and the stories of the island’s origins, I hope we can create a journey that opens both your senses and your heart.
\ My interests /
K-pop, vegetable garden
\ Langages/
I stayed in Canada and Australia as a short-term exchange student.
I studied abroad short-term in Canada and Australia.
After graduating, I worked for three years at Kansai International Airport, assisting travelers using English and Korean.
I have received all my certifications and studies abroad in English. Although my English is "Passion English", I am confident in my communication skills and am good at opening up quickly to people of all nationalities.
What I value in the journey I offer
Encountering people and everyday life
I truly value the time spent connecting with the people who live in a place and experiencing their everyday lives.
By talking with the people of Awaji Island, sharing laughter, and simply spending unhurried moments together, I hope you can gently discover the island’s charm—something that cannot be seen through sightseeing alone.
I want to offer a journey that softly accompanies the island’s daily life.Savoring the island with all five senses
Awaji Island is a place of abundance, where food and daily life thrive—its self-sufficiency rate even exceeds 100%.
By engaging with local practices and traditional craftsmanship, I value creating time to experience the island’s way of life through all five senses. Recently, I’ve been visiting pottery studios, touching the earth, and then dining at local restaurants where those handmade ceramics are used.
Through these experiences, I feel how “creating, eating, and living” are deeply connected as one.
I would love to share this uniquely Awaji way of life with you—a “circulating lifestyle” where people, nature, craftsmanship, and food resonate together, and can be experienced through travel.Creating space
Having space within a journey allows you to feel, “I’d like to stay a little longer,” or to freely follow inspirations like, “I want to try this too.”
We can also offer moments of doing nothing in breathtaking landscapes, or quiet sessions of yoga.
Simply gazing at the scenery and breathing deeply allows your mind and body to gently unwind.
By surrendering yourself to the nature of Awaji Island, I hope you can experience a sense of inner spaciousness—where your heart opens and finds room to simply be.
