Born in 1972 in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture. After graduating from high school, I spent 23 years living in Tokyo, where I worked as a professional tour conductor at a major travel company. My career also included planning inbound tours and producing films. In 2013, I returned to my hometown and founded Value Shift Inc., a tourism development company focused on people, communities, and travel.
Since April 2025, I have also served as the executive director of the Hironotown Tourism Association (DMO), a certified regional DMO by the Japan Tourism Agency. Based in the Hachinohe area, I continue to lead sustainable regional tourism initiatives.

As a professional tour conductor, I have accompanied over 400 tours across 35 countries and all 47 prefectures of Japan. Each journey holds its own meaning, and I consider it essential to design travel experiences that resonate deeply with travelers' personal needs.
